Integrated Alert and Warning System (IAWS)
During extreme hazards and major weather events, the communication resources of the various Federal and State information agencies are invariably overwhelmed by the public demand for accurate and timely information. This data and demand are 'regionalized' thus excluding access to locally affected users as well as distant interests. Another related problem is the translation of this information to a user-friendly product and making critical decisions in concert with emergency plans.
Early Alert's proprietary system, Integrated Alert and Warning System (IAWS), is our tool that allows us to rapidly notify your pre-determined recipients of an impending event that meets your criteria for broadcast. With it, we send in-advance, real-time incident alerts and digitized broadcast information to almost any communications device: pager, telephone, two-way radio, and more. We deliver the emergency alerts via text message, email, voice, IM, or website posting, to include all personnel, whatever their communication device and preferred method.
Early Alert, Inc.'s professional Emergency Management team, together with our Meteorology (MET) team, have designed a suite of our standard electronic reports which can be deployed to your management personnel, Emergency Management teams, and staff at all levels to notify them of impending, hazardous events, natural or man-made. Our standard IAWS products are these:
